Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Published On: 6th March 2020

We recognise the key role that we play in healthcare sector in the UK and we are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation carefully and regularly. The health, safety and well-being of our staff, clients and service-users is our top priority and we are following the guidelines and advice set out by the Government, NHS, HSE and other agencies.

We have put a number of proactive measures in place to help protect our customers, their clients and our own staff from Coronavirus (COVID-19). These include:

1) Annual Servicing and LOLER Inspections – over the coming weeks we will be working hard to carry out all preventative maintenance service inspections early (3-6 weeks before due dates) to ensure that your equipment is safe and compliant in the event of your organisation having to close or restrict entry due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

2) Additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) – We are currently issuing additional supplies including hand sanitisers, gloves and aprons to our Field Service Engineers to reduce the risk to your staff, your service users, and our engineers.

3) Cross Infection Prevention – We have issued guidance and instructions to our Field Service Engineers to ensure that they are minimising any possibility of cross infection. This includes procedures and processes that are carried out between job such as the sanitation of tools and equipment.

Currently all our operations are running as usual and our staff are following our Coronavirus Prevention Protocol. This primarily involves strengthened hygiene, sanitisation and the availability of disinfectants. We continue to closely follow any guidance that is given and if there are any changes or further recommendations from the WHO or other Government agencies, we will review and respond to this promptly.
