Safety and Control Features
The unique failsafe auto-lockout prevents taps and the showerhead from being turned on accidentally. It also locks the bath’s functions until activated, giving carers full control. In addition, a built-in sensor removes the risk of overfilling.
The bath also includes the Showersafe gantry system, which is WRAS approved and provides fluid category 5 backflow protection. Moreover, both the shower and filler taps use TMV3 temperature controls for consistent and safe water management.
Accessibility and Comfort
For safe transfers, the bath has an integrated powered seat with a lap strap and nursing arms. The seat also includes obstacle sensing, which stops motion instantly if needed, protecting both carer and bather.
In addition, the bath fully supports hoist transfers. Hoist access GRP panels and under-bath clearance allow hoist feet to move in close. Therefore, carers experience less strain, while bathers enjoy smoother, safer transfers.
