The Starting Point
When we arrived on site, the existing toilet was broken and the pan had been set directly into the floor. Once we removed the toilet, it became clear that the floor underneath required repair before we could proceed with the new installation. Proper preparation is key to a long-lasting result, so our first priority was restoring the floor to a solid and secure condition.
With the toilet removed, we could fully assess the area and plan the next steps.
Addressing the Wall Issue
We also discovered that the hole in the back wall was too large to properly accommodate the new toilet. Rather than trying to work around the issue, we boxed out the wall to create a clean, correctly sized surface for installation. This ensures both a professional finish and structural reliability.
Hygienic Finishing Touches
Once the wall structure was corrected, we clad the area with wipeable hygienic wall cladding. This not only improves the appearance but also provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface — ideal for maintaining high hygiene standards.
