Transforming Classrooms for Greater Mobility
Classrooms should be spaces of learning and engagement, and accessibility plays a crucial role in ensuring every student can participate fully. We installed standard XY systems in multiple classrooms, allowing smooth and effortless movement within the rooms. These systems provide much-needed support for students with mobility challenges and help staff assist with transitions more effectively.
Additionally, we implemented linked systems between classrooms and hygiene rooms, allowing for seamless transfers without the need for multiple lift operations. This integration makes daily routines easier and significantly reduces strain on both students and caregivers.
Enhancing Pool Accessibility with Hoists
Swimming is an essential activity for therapy, exercise, and relaxation, but accessing the pool can be challenging for those with mobility restrictions. To address this, we installed three specialised hoist systems in the pool area, ensuring smooth and dignified transfers from changing rooms directly into the pool. These systems provide a safe, effortless experience for students and staff, making aquatic therapy and recreational swimming more accessible and enjoyable.
Improving Therapy & Hygiene Rooms with Seamless Transfers
Therapy and hygiene rooms require tailored solutions to meet the needs of both students and caregivers. Our installation included manual traverse 200Kg systems to support various therapy and personal care needs. With these customised hoist solutions, staff can assist students with minimal physical strain while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
A Stronger, More Accessible Learning Environment
This project involved a combination of stud wall fix, hollow core plank fix, and block wall installations, ensuring a sturdy and reliable setup across all spaces. By improving accessibility in classrooms, therapy areas, hygiene rooms, and pool facilities, we have created an environment where students can move with greater freedom and staff can provide care more efficiently.
