Chair Scales, Wheelchair Scales & Hoist Scales
Chair scales are a wheelchair with an integrated weighing scale. It allows patients who are unable to stand to be weighed quickly, easily and with minimum discomfort.
Wheelchair scales are a weighing scale large enough to accommodate a patient on a wheelchair. The scale provides the weight of the patient on the wheelchair or, using Tare, the weight of the patient only.
Hoist scales are an attachment for a hoist that is used in care homes, hospitals or other clinical settings. It allows a patient to be weighed whilst in a hoist. Hoist scales, or hoist weighing attachments, are typically used to weigh bedbound patients or patients who cannot stand.
